  xtar and efest
xtar and efest are both pretty unreliable re-wraps, I'd stick to dons suggestions Wink
I've heard more recently about efest becoming more unreliable in the blf forum lol I recently got a bt-c3100 v2.2 charger and checked some efest batterys i have and found some aren't up to be what there claimed to be they were the Imr 16340 700mAh ones through i haven't seen many other choices in that size that are any good plenty of ultrafire ones ect but wouldn't trust them as far as i could throw them lol

I'm going to stick with the ones recomemded on here for vaping, as there's just so many bad ones about you can't be really sure what your getting and the stupidity of some of the claims made by some of them is laughable lol

Good on you I personally use Sony vtc5 2600 mah in my regulated mod I personally wouldn't touch efest batts just read to many bad things about them plus why would some company wanna take other company's branded battery's then rewrap them to make out the can handle the amps when they clearly can't just plain stupid and dangerous in my opinion Huh

They used to be quite good for use with torches its only recently they have been bad through it could just be someone else copying them (fakes) most of mine are what they say they are like the 26650 ones but i got them a few years ago the 16340 ones i got were ones i got recently which weren't what they say they are also some of the newer 18650s are mislabeled or fakes as far as i know the genuine ones were either panasonic or sanyo ones can't remember which ones but were quality cells it seems more and more are been copied nowadays which as you say are dangerous, Its hard to see which are fakes before you buy them and the only way to be sure is testing them, I've also seen on other forums panasonic ones are now been copied, I know all batterys i get now are going to be tested before i use them, Before i started collecting flashlights i didn't have a clue about them and used any but soon found out them Smile

RE: Istick 30
Course using flashlights will be OK they don't require massive high power drain most these days are led as we all know they don't massive current drain I rc model so I'm not new to huge current drains at full throttle so to speak with unregulated mods let's say there is little if nothing built inside them to control the the sudden ramp up when you hit that button regardless to your coil build on the end of the 510 at the end of the day it all boils down to what the battery's will take the thing that gets to me when we wanna upgrade are gear we all look at the cheapest option I'll hold me hands up I did till I spoke to people on here Good

I've just been looking into the 3 brands and there specs and agree the Sony vtc5 2600 mah seems to be far better than the rest, the funny thing is i was pricing them up on ebay and one of the 2 people i'm watching them is in fact thebatterywizard haha £10.49 for 2 which to me seems cheap for quality batterys i only paid slightly more for my panasonics so i'll be ordering 4 of them this week even if i don't get another mod for a while the flashlights i use are high powered ones the biggest i've got has cree 12t6 leds in it and says its 13800 lumens which i know it will be far less than what it says but is brighter than a car headlight so quite powerful, I really need something to test the light intensity so i know what the light output is lol
