If you want to keep it, use a syringe, if not open it and clean tank out

The juice can snap/crackle/pop if it boils on the coils before being vaporized. Shouldn't be a problem, personally I'm so used to mine popping that I find it unsettling if I don't hear it crackle. If it bothers you, you can turn the power down a bit so it'll heat up a bit more slowly which will make it pop less.

RE: Is my unit safe?
Yeah that's happened to me before, the popping sound is boiling juice and when it boils it can throw little splashes of juice around, usually it just splashes around inside the atty but it can sometimes pop through the air hole or up the mouth piece.

The popping sound doesn't have anything to do with it exploding in your mouth. If it was gonna do that, you'd feel the battery overheat and hear it hiss as pressure built up inside it and then boom. But that's extremely unlikely, especially if you're using your vape properly and not trying to mod it and put super low resistance coils on it or things like that. And those things can be safe too if you know what you're doing. My point is that e-cigs don't just explode for no reason. And most of the time, they wouldn't explode even if something did go wrong. The only time they explode is if someone is being an idiot and abusing their device, and also extremely unlucky.

RE: Is my unit safe?
My aim is always building my coils best I can, with least popping, crackle and noise when I draw. Nothing nicer than a smooth draw. Some of my coils get pretty close to be almost disturbance-free, some have one single small pop in the beginning and then draw quiet. If it crackles too much I'll redo the wicking.

To loose wicking, little gaps in between the juice hole and wick material, and too loose wicking can be the cause of more noise and popping. Major cause of excess popping is the wicking material not fully touching the coil.
