Ok..I think I have it (maybe) If I wish to achieve ABOVE 1.0 ohms, I need thinner wire correct? Like you said 30ga.

Not all iSticks have the issue but recently it's become more of a problem it seems .  Just be cautious , especially if juice spills all over it because lots of the auto firing issues seem to be related to juice getting inside.

Yeah, you got the wire thing right , thats how it would go.   Those are just the most popular gauges for wrapping coils ,  it does go lower and higher also but those gauges from about 24 to 32 are by far the most popular.

First let me say with the Innokin 134 you definitely will be looking to build coils in the 1.8 -2.0 range ,  even a 1 ohm coil is really stressing the hell out of that mod .   Batteries won't last long at all , stay between the 1.8 minimum and you will be rewarded .

As you can see in the "thumbnail" below ,  this "Steam Engine " app tells you exactly ,  for 30 gauge you will average 9 to 10 wraps to reach 1.8 ohm .  It's pretty thin wire so it's a very compact coil even at 10 wraps .

You just put in the size of the wire , choose what type of coil , single, double , parallel etc... , then you type in what ohm you want .

It calculates and to the right it shows you how many wraps .

RE: Innokin Itaste 134 Mini
The i50 issues are a tiny fraction of the units sold.  I know a dozen people personally who've had them since they hit the market (as have I) and I don't know one person who has had an issue.  I talked to my B&M that sells them as fast as they can get them, they say it's about 3% or so.  Which frankly, is barely above the "normal" defective rate for mass produced electronics (around 2%).  The difference is, people are noisy about it and thus far, vape equipment doesn't have much in the way of warranty support.

From what I've seen, it's caused by juice getting into the fire button assembly.  So use a tank that has a separate chamber above the 510 - SubTank, Arctic, Lemo, etc - and use your stuff correctly so you don't get leaks.  It's that easy.

Actually thats only a very small part of it ,  there are a lot of complaints other than the juice getting into the mod .   If you haven't heard about any issues thats great but there is a lot more info out there stating something very different and quite a few vape shop owners are the ones saying it.

There are people talking about lots of different issues and it's all over the net now, just google iStick problems .  Don't shoot the messenger people are talking about it all over the net .

There are also defective boards in some of them that has caused auto firing and Eleaf said they are aware of it (nothing to do with juice penetration ) but to brush it off as a non issue and only say that a select few have the issue is outright irresponsible .

I don't care one way or the other because i would never own one (for other reasons i won't get into ) .  All i did was make a person who wasn't aware of it aware since he was planning on purchasing more .

He can make his own decisions , he's a big boy .

Here is one shop owner who repairs mods for a living commenting on the iSticks :

I love my istick. I have 2 50w. That being said they are SUPER glitchy. I have taken them apart countless times troubleshooting and they are very poorly made. Sometimes it's just a soldering issue but this new (auto-firing) is new to me.

RE: Innokin Itaste 134 Mini
That's interesting, as the auto-firing issue was the first issue reported by people when they first starting getting them.  *shrug*

I used the bigger version for my work mod for about a year jerry
I never had a problem with it and recently gave it my friend as he has just stopped smoking
he thinks its great Good
I always carry my kayfun (set around 1 ohm) and either a mech or a box mod with a sub ohm coil in
I probably mouth to lung around 70% of the time and lung hit the other 40%Tongue

if at first you don't succeed ,call it version 1.0

RE: Innokin Itaste 134 Mini
I tried mouth to lung..can't do it. I was really worried about the vape production with this mini. I went to my local Vape shop, and the guy there built me a coil with 28ga Kanthal. That Mini really puts out some vapor, and great flavor. I guess by mistake I did really good.
