Info?  Link?

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

That sucks...yup, saw the tobacco industry pulling something like this -- heard recently that Phillip Morris is working on their own line of mods and ecig line....of course when they have a commercial product they will monopolize the market at their prices...once again crushing the little guys...

'What does concern him is the stipulation that the security company must have at least one employee who is a certified consultant on architectural hardware such as locks and door hinges and one who is a certified technician on rolling steel fire doors. The measure also says those employees must have been on staff for at least a year, which would preclude the possibility that a company could hire a new employee to meet these qualifications'. Evan McMahon, chairman of hoosier vapors.

I found this in a local news article from the Indystar newspaper. I can't even find the words for a comment. It's just too stupid. This is what the vape shops in Indiana have to put up with on top of the FDA bullshit.Angry

If only I could figure out a way to invest in the underground industry that is going to spring up from all this BS.  Like investing in moonshine and the Mob prior to prohibition.

The situation is infuriating and saddening.  I'd given up even thinking about quitting smoking prior to vaping.  Logically, I can understand the motivating factors behind these regulations; big companies want to keep making big money, and big government wants in on it.  There maybe deeming involved, but it just feels demeaning.

There have been rays of sunshine that I previously hadn't seen, like the hospital across the pond that has endorsed and permitted vaping. Plus, that show recently that was referenced here. When I first started vaping and gained an awareness of 'the cause', I had only seen negativity and attacking. With any luck, the tide is turning. I know personally that I was very pessimistic earlier about it ever becoming above ground and mainstream (an unwinnable war, I believe I said), but I'm starting to feel better about its' future. A little.

Thanks TW, you are right.  Perspective and paradigms -  I always felt vaping was so innocuous as to generate the kind of governmental response it's currently getting.  Then again, I've seen how vaping has grown, from the badly reviewed blu type of device, to cigalikes in over 50% of corporate smoking crowd, to a hobby with websites and mods galore that gets 40+ year smokers to quit.  It's inevitable there will be an evolution to vaping and this one phase of it.
