In a Velocity
Me being a SS user, what about a Clapton, made of a center strand of 22 ga., wrapped in 26 ga.? ALL stainless.

Onward.. through the Fog!

RE: In a Velocity
I was going to wrap 26 around a 24 core and was advised against it. Apparently much thinner outer wire is preferred. The Coil Masters will be along to explain it further soon I'm sure.

Me also being an avid ss fan, with about 20 different gauges of the stuff!
It'll be a massive coil bud, worst though is the fact the outer wrap won't heat up and the actual source of heat (core) isn't in contact with the cotton so dry hits abounds.
34g is where I'd consider Clapton wraps to start.

Don't forget to apply for the freecycle section!
