Should I get a DNA mod?  It seems like everyone has one.  What's the deal, is it a superior vape experience?  If I do get one It would have to be a good value, is there a DNA mod in the $60.00 range?

Some DNAs are close to 80-100 dollars. DNAs have a very accurate chip and going online with escribe are highly customizable. Now I find that DNAs are really smooth when firing - this can be a problem if you like a powerful vape. So you need customize online to get that power curve vape. An SX chip can be set easily to be powerful and actually I find hits harder faster. The say DNAs are the best for TC. I can tell you that a few of my chips are better - notably the FSK chip from Hohmtech.

Do I own any DNAs? Yes. Are they my best mods - no. The Voopoo Drag has the least amount of lag. A Dicodes chip is way better IMHO. If Hohmtech made a mod that was ergonomic it would kick DNAs ass. And G-class is as good as any DNA out there.

You want a DNA go for it. Here are some cheaper DNA mods:

I've recently acquired the Drag and IPV Vesta and they're both pretty customizable.  I use them both in TC.  The Drag is great without adjustment but I'll probably have to adjust the Vesta because it's a bit too smooth.  I'll probably end up getting a DNA anyway, what about this one?

Do you own one of the mods that is compatible with Arctic Fox? If so, you can experiment with a myriad of customizations at no cost since Arctic Fox is free.

Actually I forgot about Arctic Fox, TW. Yes - any mod taking Arctic Fox firmware is also great. I hear the Sinuous is well built. I love the La Petite Box. Primos are nice.

RE: I don't own a DNA mod, what am I missing
I can confirm that Arctic Fox works fine on both of my Wismec RX75s and my RX200.

I've just bunged AF on my VaporFlask Classic. Then I put the Windows box away.

Now that Escribe runs on my Macs, and I use the DNA75 based VT Inbox nearly all the time, the Windows (Vista) box does not get booted often.

You are the type of person AF was built for. I know you like to tinker and this is a tinkerer's paradise.

And you can do just about all of the tinkering on the mod.

The other nice thing is that I now have four mods with an identical user interface. Only one set of button press combinations to learn.

Then my three DNA mods also have identical interfaces, just a bit different from the Arctic Fox one.

IMO the Arctic Fox while influenced by Escribe is actually better.

That was one point I made in the Hub about it too. ALL my mods would be AF if they were compatible, not only because it's great but for that reason as well. You can assign the same key functions and display parameters to all your mods so it comes down to either 'which mod looks cool today' or 'this one has more cells so it's better for my long drive'. Or in my lazy case, 'this one is closer'.
