I detest flared flat topped drip tips
Like the one here that came with the Taifun clone sitting on the Hammer clone. On close examination it is identical to the one that came with the IGO-W.

Hence the 70mm black one from FT on the Igo.

I also don't like very short tips like the one that came with the Pulse G clone.

Now that's better

RE: I detest flared flat topped drip tips
I'm loving my acrylic tips at the moment,  hence the fillers in one of the packages that headed north. Wayne gave me an acrylic, forvwant of a better term, whistle tip, I like that, I also have some wide bore tips that are cut cgamfered, great for single coil drippers as I know which way to tilt, I've also got a stubby tip on my ikarus, I'm finding I quite like that too.

Yeah, those acrylic ones you sent up are nice. Sadly one of them went flying as the junior assistant was on my lap when the doorbell rang. The top cap of the cheapo benny went flying and has yet to reappear two weeks later.

I'm thinking the other acrylic tip would work nicely on the Taifun and make it rather less unwieldy than the pipe-tip on it just now.

But the Taifun is a big atomiser and the Vamo is hardly small either. Making very nice clouds of vanilla custard though even at 7W

These are my favorite kind. I like them because they have a large enough top to drip without making a mess.

RE: I detest flared flat topped drip tips
I'd not like yours, 18. It's the edged bit at the top that seems to catch on my lips that I dislike. Those might have little enough of a rim not to annoy me though. The bore of the drip tip seems to make little or no difference to me within reason. But since my only dripper's cap tends to come off when you grab the drip tip (Which is a tight fit), it's not a problem for me.

RE: I detest flared flat topped drip tips
I never notice them to catch my lip but they do get grundged up pretty quick. When I first started dripping the only way to do it was to take off the cartomizer top and drip that way so I also removed the tip for a long time. I just got lazier as time went on and not worried about getting a little juice on my lips either. It just adds to the flavor right? Spiteful

I'm not sure how many people prefer removing their tips but it's still probably most people.

Loose fitting drip tips are the deal breakers for me. If they won't fit really tight I won't use them. It drives me absolutely nuts having the tip come off in my mouth. Also if I'm out ice fishing I will swap out these tips for ones that don't freeze to my lips.

It was 30 degrees below zero with wind chill last night.

That's a very good argument for non-metallic tips!

Me, I usually remove the cap for dripping so I don't flood the thing.

I pull the whole cap when I drip. I like to be preciseSun_bespectacled  I also have the same reason as 18sixfifty for liking acrylic tips - they dont conduct heat or cold to my lips.

Here's my day to day setups
