Hugo Vapor Boxer Rader Max Input Current
I bought my Boxer Rader yesterday to replace my AL85. And as I scan through the user manual, there is a warning that the max current of battery that can be used is only 30A but I use Global Power (Green) which is rated 40A. Is there any hazards if I will still use my GP battery? Thanks!

Wishful thinking on behalf of the manufacturer. The battery will be fine.

RE: Hugo Vapor Boxer Rader Max Input Current
Need to be a bit more specific on the battery stats.  I search for Global Power 18650 green or any variant of that and I get a billion different results.  Link to the battery would be awesome, or just some info off the battery like voltage and mah. It is a very good chance that the 40 amp is just the pulse(burst) rating of the battery.

Battery safety b4 all else.

RE: Hugo Vapor Boxer Rader Max Input Current
Sorry for the slow response, I have been doing some research on those batteries. I am suspecting the batteries you have are probably rewraps.  The video does not show the batteries going over 25 amps, but I still can't find spec information on them.  Battery safety is important and information on the batteries you buy is just as important.  I have yet to see a 18650 rated over 30 amps that can actually do what it says.  If you want a 30 amp battery that has been proven to be safe at 30 amps, check out LG HB2 30A 1500mAh 18650. They are not expensive.

I would also ask you to read these 2 links.

RE: Hugo Vapor Boxer Rader Max Input Current
When I Google search that it brings up tons of different cells, none of them are global power brand even though i typed it in the search field. Im pretty sure the highest amp 18650 is 30a. I could be wrong though, I'm not a battery expert. It just sounds kinda similar to alot of the shady re-wrapped cells that boast all these stats that are completely inaccurate and if used to that extent would vent. I'm just concerned about your safety brother. Wasn't trying to sound like a jerk in my first post at all. Smile
