Haha reminds me of that bacon I made the other day, took me an hour to simmer down a beer/maple/sugar glaze for it. Would have been much easier to just wrap the bacon around a Swiss roll Tongue

Mike, when you've used the scotch roll is it any good?

Mmm food..

Yeah, scotch rolls are all I do when I've got muji or kgd. More hits for sure, but the 20 or so reported on YouTube are from .3 .4's at low watts. Better flavour, more hits and great vapour. they also work perfectly with fc's. Recommended Ok

i use cotton balls , scotish roll really helps you got to teas the crap out of this to get an even distribution so rolling just bring it all together nice .
net trip around cotton baccon , thes cotton balls are to much work ,swear i put more time in to the wick than the coil

Dogs have owners , Cats have staff .

That's why I do the swiss roll with the cotton bacon. Aside from swapping cells, replacing the cotton is the one thing I do the most often and I pretty much require it to be quick and easy. If it would last as long as a coil, I would spend more time on it. I get 3-5 days on a swiss roll so that works for me. I hated using the organic square sheets; had to swap it once, sometimes twice a day. Drove me nuts.

I seem to rewick once per day or sometimes two days if I'm lucky. Perhaps the roll would last a bit longer. I'll have to try it sometime.

I wanted something relatively easy to build that could handle high wattage. So here's my sexy 24/30 Clapton on my new Velocity Mini.

Fused Claptons, 26ga nichrome core with a twisted 34ga kanthal wrap. Comes out to 0.17 ohms according to my RX200, I've gotten lazy and don't really use an ohm reader anymore since most mods have built-in these days. 4.2V works out to 98W, very nice.
