Four strand 34ga twisted. The flavor is awesome, this isn't a cloud build at 0.4 ohms and 50W but I'm loving it. That's on my Patriot with drilled out air holes, which has a nice hot vape, though it'd probably give me better clouds on a Doge or Dark Horse.

Very effective! 316l is by far and away my fave wire. 304, 316, 317l are also very good, I've got 430 on order so I'll report back on that when I get it.

It's ultra low resistance, a usable ohm coil will be big.. but nice Smile just make sure you know the grade before you use it

Either Wink it's better in power though. G-plat is 317 for example

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
SS is a "universal" wire. In TC it is tricky as its resistance varies much less with temperature. As does Kanthal's. Nickel and titanium give a much larger variation which is why they get used.

In general, though there are so many grades of and variations in that all generalisations are dangerous, SS is a poorer conductor of heat so will stay hot longer and take longer to heat up. It is probably easier to get "hot legs" with SS coils. I've no actual experience with the stuff but do intend to.
