RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Well, part of my problem is being timid. I'm afraid of dry hitting it or having the coils heat up too fast and burning me to crap and back. After roaching my throat at much lower wattage, I'm into the twice shy stage I guess. I'm also afraid of putting the mod to my face at 120w, even with the LG browns I use.

I did just make sure my cotton was fully saturated, cranked up my 4s to the 120w max, (fired it once away from my face just in case, then went for it. Yes, it was a grander cloud than I've ever done previously, but I was sweating it out the whole time. Guess I'm a chicken at heart. Guess I'm more Ned Flanders than Homer Simpson.

Yes. And I don't think that bothers you one diddly-bit, either.

Homer can be portrayed as a real doofus, but in reality he seems to always be able to take great risks and enjoy great rewards. Now, before I sink too deeply in the hole I'm digging, I will say that the Homer reference is to his ability to succeed no matter what, which you most certainly do in the world of vaping. You're no dim wit, that's for sure.

You're a boss! A true vaping boss!

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Really enjoying the newfound twisted coils, I have to admit. And I found a nice benefit that must be related. I'm still using the same cotton from when I built the coils. And it's still clean and showing no signs of nastiness. That's great because I've never been a fan of rapid cotton changes. I've also found that there's almost no residue built up on the coils yet. At this point with my single strand build, the cotton would have a bit of funk and the coils would have enough residue on them to alter the vape. I guess that's related to the higher wattages I use now?

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
It's a weird phenomenon with twisted wires.. I've no rational explanation. The last twisted I did is still in use with the same cotton after days of use at over 100w! The same resistance with a fc or a thicker plain wire would need cleaning every couple of days.

Think you'll stick with it or go for something new on your next build?

I don't care what wire I use. I change my cotton once a day in all my RTAs and RDAs. I taste things  ... weird things ... it's like am I tasting the coil, the cotton, the juice? My taste buds are so screwed up from chain vaping. I'm a PARANOID CHAIN VAPER!!!. help me help me
