Dunno, but seems you were entering the image and URL twice for some reason. Confused

I've fixed it for you Smile Good

Some real nice builds there btw! very nice indeed!

Cheers bud. I just used the photo bucket link, no clue why it doubled up.
Pictures aren't so clear on my phone, I assume y'all can see them clearly?
Thanks for the compliment Blush I like to think my coiling is something different. Though I'm mad for the fused Clapton atm.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I know. There's stuff all over the web about wicking and stuff. But that stuff is all so vastly different it doesn;t necessarily help a lot. So I may as well ask the trusted pros here.

For a 26ga 2.5mm dual coil setup on an RDA, what's the best way to wick? How much do you use? Do you use a ton and cover every square inch of the juice well, or do you just do enough so the cotton touches the bottom? Do you use so much cotton inside the coil that it's hard to thread it in and it's really packed, or do you use a thinner amount that easily slides in? Inquiring minds want to know! I do, anyway.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
What cotton do you use? Which rba? What vg level juice? What coil? All play their part Imo.
I've found that some diffent cotton types require different strategies. Pima pimma (spelling?) Needs to be lose in the coil and have big fluffy tails where muji, kjd ect don't mind being tighter.
My normal build would see largeish clumps of wick either end of the coil so theres enough immediate juice availible to the coil, with enough length on them to cover a good portion of the deck. So when I tilt the mod juice doesn't run out the air holes. Kinda like this

Seems to work fine for me Cool

A1 kanthal, nothing special, 5 twists 2.5mm dual. The current RDA is 13 Heavens 9 Hells clone. Using Cotton Bacon. VG minimum is 50%, max 80%, pretty much never less than that.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Do you center the coil? That'd be the only thing that'd make difference to my normal method. I regularly use 24awg for exactly the same build you have. Never any wicking issues tbh

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Yes, I center it. That's actually one of the reasons I wanted the Velocity clone to work out; dual posts rather than triple. Easier to center.
