RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I was just looking at all the different coils. They all look pretty neat. Some look like there is some work involved. As for me..I am an avid YouTube watcher especially about coil building. I have seen nano coils, super nano coils, Macro coils, dragon coils and many more. I found one video that stuck with me. I use 22 gauge Kanthal, wrapped 5 times around a 3mm shaft. I consistently get .17 to .20 ohms. Milky vapor and warm taste. Just wanted to share.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I am having some issues with my Kanger Sub tank plus. I have been vaping it at about 35 watts. The coil is .50 ohms. I'm getting a burny taste. So after properly priming a new coil head, I dropped it in. Still getting a burny taste at maximum inhale. If I hold back to about 50% inhale there is no burny taste. Scratch_one-s_head

Is this some new juice Jerry? It just sounds like to much voltage to me.

Yeah I think it is. I dropped it down to 30 watts. Seems better. Thanks.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Sounds like a high vg juice. Lots of airflow will dry the coils faster than a tighter draw will. Drop the wattage to around 25 and it should Vape better with more airflow. Wink

You guys are right. Much better at lower watts.

It also depends on which coils you're using. The old ones are horizontal coils and are rated for up to 30W, while the new style are vertical coils and can handle higher wattages. They should have a range of wattage listed on the side of the coils.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I just got to thinking that I have had two Aspire Atlantis tanks, and one Aspire Atlantis Mega tank. I have been vaping fairly constant with thos tanks. This in month two, and I have not had to change coil heads. I have heard coil heads lest maybe two weeks. Mine are still going strong.
