Its pretty scruffy tbh, but it tests the concept, already figured out how to build it neater, also figured out my cells will take .2ohm.....

.2ohm. Wow. I built one that was around .4 and That was lower than I needed. Although I really liked it when it was broken in a bit. By then it was probably around .6 if I had to guess. 

I use the 20r's and the sony 30's. I wonder how low you could go with your Moli 26650's? 

I wonder what battery sag does to these when you run a quad? Is it like running extra emitters direct drive in parallel?

Not tested yet. Molis will go down to .07ohm, 60a 200+watts. Nope I've not considered it at all....


There's a brilliant box mod build on potv using 7 4.2v lipo packs and mosfets. I'm really digging that.

I've seen 0.5 used. But you do need strong fingers...

FT finally have a 26650 mod. Not all that expensive either.

Now find a 31mm atomiser

This stuff is great, easy to form and it holds its form too, the taifun is now at .6 ohm, aqua, .6 ohm, there's a touch of lag with the aqua but the taifun heats instantly. Very pleased with both now.

Got my Taifun GT today. Stainless tank does fit just fine on the newest listed Taifun on FT.

Built up a quick micro coil out of some 2 strand twisted 28g kanthal. 3 wraps around the lil screwdriver. 
I put it in as a chimney coil, as I wanted to try one. Stuffed some cotton all around the coil, and a rat tail coming out each side.

Will let you know how much fail it is in a few

I've not got a chimney coil to work for me yet. Be interested to see the build.
