Hi - 50/50 juice solved 2 problems for me. The ''gunk'' issue and a slight intolerance to PG - before I ''knew better'' I used 70/30 PG/VG and ended up with vapers tongue quite often.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I very seldom add sweetener to my juices but do mix max vg, normally around 85/15. I've tried upping the PG a bit but honestly don't like the throat hit and enjoy the thicker clouds of max vg. I've also found that with higher vg that the vg gives most of mixes all the sweetness I want.

I do rewick about every two or three days though. I too have a low tolerance for gunked coils. My cotton still looks pretty decent when I rewick just the coils have a bit of gunk on them and it doesn't take much for me to start tasting it.

Keep Calm and Vape On!

Opposite for me. Usually the cotton blackens before there's visible residue on the coils. Without sweetener that is.

You might want to try ethyl vanillin. Won't gunk coils and blends stuff well. Also adds a tad of sweetness.

All my salt nics are 50/50 VG. Unfortunately salt nics are hard on coils ... the cotton looks white but the coils clog faster. Still at low wattage I get a good two weeks usually. When rotaing dfive or six mods it means I change my coils only once every three or four months. That has been my solution. People ask me why i have three billets - that is why.

I've seen a conversion chart somewhere though

Hehe yeah me too but I have to admit that I'm not a great lover of metric unless we're talking Spanner sizes Tongue

Something I must learn is the conversion in my head. Thanks for the link, I'll check that out Smile

What's funny is that I still prefer my 1.3 ohm Igo single coil over the dual coil 0.7 ohm in the Nimbus. I think I will have to really open out those Nimbus airholes as it's really overkill on flavour.
its all in the mix...watts coils and your taste...micro coils are great and very responsive ...big exotic builds last long if you like the taste or the clouds
