RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Just did a dual micro coil at about 0.7 ohm, silica wick. Its working pretty good, not the best I have done yet though.

I am starting to wonder if it is my juice or what though. seems no matter what set up I do, it starts tasting like ass a day or two later. But the weird thing is, it will snap in and out of the ass tasting state. I have been stuffy the past week or so, maybe that has something to do with it...

I find something similar,  I think I get juice fatigue so no matter what the juice my taste buds get numb to it. That or like you, I'm full of a cold

Got that atty.Drilled air hole out to 1/8 or 3/16", added a second air hole the same size on the opposite side. Dual micro coils, 28g kanthal 5 wraps around the small phillips screwdriver that comes with the rebuildables. Stuffed some strands of silica wick through it and put it on the Roller

It is working pretty decent. Not the best vape I have had, but decent. Can do some pretty mean lung hits with those big air holes haha

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I have the Scar triple post version of that and an Aluminium version dual post. I find the Aluminium seems to kill the flavour - not sure why that is.. I do want to get that version you have though in stainless Steel. The small size really seems to amplify the flavours very well

That version is very tedious trying to get dual coils in with 28g wire. They would barely fit lol. Not to mention that even though my micro coils are like 1-1.5mm, they are sill basically right in the air hole. But it's working great after a little break in period. It is a little leak prone, but can't expect much from a $5 atty that I drilled out two huge holes in lol.
I get about 4 or so killer lung hits before it starts going dry.

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
Dual coils in a little bitty dripper has to be awesome.  I bet it warms really fast!!!!

The wife has a small one for her ego battery that i drilled the hole a little bigger and wrapped a 1.8 micro coil on and she loves it! It hits descent but it isnt no cloud maker.  She actually might have a good pleasing setup now. Atleast maybe a week or so, that is before she wants a new fashion statement. Lol

She bought a ring that goes around the ego battery button with dangley things on it to premiere tonight at happy hour.

Good

I have certain juices that I can only vape about a day or so maybe and it starts getting a weirdish taste to it, and the wick is real dark and gooey looking. What I usually do is pull the wick out and then burn the coil/coils clean and wash it all clean with hot water, then install a new cotton wick and then it is back doing good but it does it again.  I find that using less fruity juice don't do it as bad.  I have a twisted micro coil .7 ohms with gorilla vanilla and banana it lasts quite a bit longer before having to do it.

Been doing this for a while and thought it was a common practice but rip trippers put out a video on it today so thought I would mention it incase not everyone is doing it and thought that it might help you out.
