RE: How do you dip yer wick?
As do mine. But I still measure them. What I'm vaping just now measures by the mod at 0.710 ohms. According to the expensive ohm measuring device it is actually 0.7069 ohms..

But will measure differently when it cools down...

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
I stick with 3mm as well much easier to wick. I usually keep my resistance right around .25 now. That's up from .15 Smile Been using NI80 26g wrapped with 36g kanthal. About 7 wraps for a dual coil setup.

Keep Calm and Vape On!

I've never tried to wrap 28g single wire...but will give it a try - definitely a single coil installation... 3mm id?

Hi FB - yes 3mm is ideal for wicking and 28g is strong enough to re-wick lots of times.

Wait a minute, at 1.2 ohms I'll have to start a new crossword due to the time it will take to heat up - dare I try it at 15W? Smile

Having picked up The RECOIL RDA I decided to sort of follow in ecig footsteps - dual coils 26g 14 wraps @.92Ω Tongue

Hi FB - It will vape at 15W but not much flavour. Try it at 11.5W then you will know what flavour is[Image: smile.gif]. There is no time needed for heat up - just press the button, puff and you're there. We will have you in the Toodle Club soon - once the members vote on it that is - it is very exclusive you know[Image: tongue.gif].

RE: How do you dip yer wick?
In some endurance tests with the VT Inbox (I'm just trying several different 18650's to see which gives the most puffs in my usage) I had an HE4 cell discharged enough that it could only do 5.1W. Not a lot of vapour but still (sorta) usable. I got 595 puffs out of a fully charged HE4.

This is the first time I've actually used a puff counter as it means dragging out the ancient Vista laptop to run Escribe.

I now have a Samsung 30Q cell in it to see how long it'll last.

Hi Don - now that you have both the VTbox and the Wraith - taking into consideration the price difference - is the VT box worth the extra money. I am asking because I am thinking about getting one[Image: smile.gif].
