I could have been at .5 but it would have been a shit vape, and I'd be scared of hitting the switch. .6 is easily good enough.

All I need to do is be working Bristol in the next week, we can meet up and do a back to back comparison. ...when I have decent juice in lol although the low res seems to have ironed out the flavour.

Surely the word isn't "ironed" but "burnt". Does anything near those coils spontaneously combust? Tongue

Some juice seems to need "warming" more than others lol.

.6ohm isnt bad anyway, my 18350 cells will do that....briefly....

The potential .4ohm the igo w could have come out at led to discretion being the better part of valour though tbh

Couldn't make quad chimneys work, this came out at 2.6ohm, using 16 wraps of .25 kanthal on a 2mm screw driver then bending/forming pinching and squeezing to get the shape. Its on a kayfun clone.

If you like a real hot vape, thumping throat hit and muted fkavour, you'll like this at 15watts.  Personally,  I know the kayfun can give a nicer vape so its already drained and will be getting recoiled later. It was a worthwhile experiment,  I'll probably try a single chimney coil next but I think you can go too far with these things, it took a while to make and the results dont justify the build time. Fun though and if you needed a right kick in the throat, this delivers.

Yeah I just saw your post, offered up some tips too. To make twisted your best using the roofing contractor method, twist it up with a drill, you'll end with enough for a few builds but it takes seconds.

Once I've replaced the drill's battery anyway. Just measured it at 0.02V. Since it's a nominal 3.6V NiCd unit I can gut it and put an 18650 in it in such a way that I can remove it for charging. Time to go looking for decent 18650 holders.

Fortunately I got a lot of Kanthal wire in 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 and 0.3mm in.
