How I make clouds to rival Hurricanes
Starting off with a VosVape VBX duel 26650 unregulated box (gutted and modded to push past the .2 ohm cap), an overnited Mutation X V3 in Stainless. I'm running TWO, duel parallel coils in 26g Authentic A1 wire. Ohm metered at .09 ohms. I've created a BEAST. Using Nubz Vape's, Aloha Sauce 100% VG juice, I can white out an average size car with 2 rips of this thing. No heat issues from the button or batteries with continuous use. I'm fine if some of you don't think that all to great, but after 2 months of being into vaping, I'm proud of my build.

RE: How I make clouds to rival Hurricanes
Glad you're happy with your build and all, but I really wouldn't feel right if I didn't mention how insanely unsafe that is. .09 ohms is not at all safe, no matter what cells you're using, what mod, what atty, it's just impossible to go that low and be safe while doing it. You'll get some killer clouds, for sure, and you might never have any problems, but there's a reason they put a .2 ohm limit on that mod. I've built super low sub-ohm builds down to .12 ohms before, back before I realized how stupid that was with my setup, and fortunately I never blew my face off or screwed up my mods or cells, but it's just not worth the risk. Of course, it's your prerogative if you want to do that kind of thing, I just wouldn't feel right if I didn't warn you and anyone who might be reading this.

I don't approve of vaping on the edge of disaster, I like my face too much.

RE: How I make clouds to rival Hurricanes
Admittedly it's a lot wiser to use a dual 26650 well made box mod for that kind of build, so kudos for not running it on a single cell tube mod with a UBER IMR 500A continuous 18650 cell Big Grin

I think the push for Lipo cells in high power mods is just around the corner now as people are beginning to wise up on the bullshit stated limits on rewrapped cells and the form factor of a Lipo that can deliver 350A safely over 2x 18650 or 2x 26650's is more suitable for convenience too.

Mine isn't that great, but I've no ambition to blow chunks of it off either. It's likely to be painful.

But at least here it wouldn't bankrupt me.

Still don't fancy modifying it with fire though.

If you don't know how to apply Ohm's Law...I'd highly suggest doing so.  Anytime you alter a mod, you're putting yourself in danger.  There is a reason that manufacturer's put minimum safe build protection in place...because they know you can vent a battery in a heartbeat.

If you want to safely super sub-ohm, then you should really contact a custom builder who can safely build a mod for super subbing.  The mod in my Forums Avatar is a super subber.  It is a TRIPLE 26650 parallel, unregulated box and is safe down to .05 ohms.  With the batteries and custom Asmodus/Dark Horse atty, it retails for $300. Even though it's safe to .05 Ohms, I keep my builds around .12 or so just be be safe.

Edit: @Spas ->  My custom builder and I are already working on a 400 watt Lipo box mod.  Building will start as soon as he gets back from Alaska.

Sorry to say I also don't like the static things like this has on the vaping community as a whole, I have read about too many battery venting accidents happening to those who are either not familiar with safety or that choose to ignore vaping safely all for the sake of "clouds" Negative

I agree Whiskey, it's unfortunate that the media seems to spin it as anti-ecig propaganda, when in reality the stories like that should be used as an opportunity to teach people ecig safety. But when a guy's vape explodes, it's seen as "ecigs are bad, we should ban them" instead of "that guy was an idiot, use your ecig responsibly."

Agreed I sub ohm and blow some clouds but never build below .4 because I just don't need too battery safety and cape safety posters should be in every shop yet I haven't seen them anywhere smh

RE: How I make clouds to rival Hurricanes
christianthekid1 that's a smart way to vape. When people come on here asking "is this battery safe to use at X ohms?" I always tell them no matter what your cell is capable of, going below .3-.4 is just not smart. At that low of a level, the ohm reader isn't as reliable, and at that low of a level, being just a tiny bit off can mean the difference between using 20A and 40A, so it's not worth the risk.
