Herakles Plus Black tank paint chipping inside
I got the Herakles plus black last week and I love it! I cleaned it out today because Im changing juice. I notice that there is paint chipping on the inside of the tank,on the top lip right above the Herakles and CE logo. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the paint they use safe if it was to be mixed in with my juice and inhaled? Should I get rid of this one and get a SS version of this tank?

RE: Herakles Plus Black tank paint chipping inside
That's weird, most tanks I own don't have paint inside. They usually just paint the outside, and the inside is metal. I have a stainless Herakles and it's awesome, no experience with the black one though. As a general rule I'd say paint isn't safe to get in the juice, I don't know what kind of paint they used but it doesn't sound like a good idea to have it getting heated up with the juice and inhaling the fumes.
