Help with my Scar RDA
I just recently bought the bought the Scar Dual Coil RDA coming in at a total of 1.5ohms. i have it on my itaste svd. All the reviews and vids i have watched express that it produces a good amount of warm vapor and great flavor at a relatively average Volt/watt setting. Even when i put my SVD up to its max of 15 watts all i get is a fairly small amount of vapor, and its not warm in any sense. Quite flavorless too. Any suggestions? From what i can see the coils are all properly connected and the wicks are properly set. My ohm checker is reading them at the proper 1.5ohms that they are supposed to be. Other people in videos i have seen are usually running their mods around 10watts and getting great results. Any feedback is appreciated.

RE: Help with my Scar RDA
Hi Tootlyfe and welcome to TVF!

Just one thing springs to mind which I've done myself on my scar Smile

Have a quick look to see if the coils are positioned directly over the air inlet holes. If the coils are on the opposite side you'll get a terrible vape and big harsh throat hit with hardly any vapour production.

If it's not that then we can look a bit further Smile

Let me know

RE: Help with my Scar RDA
make sure the coiks and wicks are not blocking the air holes. also, pop the top cap off and give the firing button a go, see what's going on, have you primed the wicks?? it takes a bit of fluid to get those wicks saturated before you can just put a couple of drops in to top up.

Botg myself and spas have scar rda's and they do indeed work very well, infact I'll be fitting new coils and wicks this weekend because I hammered mine for a few days at 15watts lol

RE: Help with my Scar RDA
Thanks for the tip guys.

Everything was all good to go and I did have everything saturated pretty good.
I just kept using it how it was for a good day. And by the end of the day it was hitting like a champ. Thanks again I really appreciate it!

Great news! I'm glad it's working properly now. Do you have any other types of rebuildable drippers or was this your first ?
