Help with TC...
Put a 0.15 Ni coil in my topbox after priming it.
Did 5 no battery hits. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Set to 390f and did a few short hits.
Bumped to 400f and did several more hits.
I am getting a quick shot of heat for a second then it is gone. No flashing or errors on mod.
What am I doing wrong?

I browsed through faq section bit didn't see anything for tc issues.

Thanks

RE: Help with TC...
It's set to ni with the base resistance locked and joules control/wattage set high?
Tc works in cycles; watts go in, the resistance goes up as temp is being reached, once it hits temp the mod cuts power until resistance drops, repeats process.. its cycling too slowly, not many things cause that, mismatch tcr, base resistance gain. Only other thing is max wattage/joules is too low.

I looked this up today and found you can only set temp on the topbox mini, ohm and wattage are not adjustable. I saw it shows max range instead of actual setting.
I have temp up to 450f. It shows 0.24ohm and 75watt.

I get about 1 1/2 seconds of heat then it drops out but I do keep getting vapor. Took a 5 second draw and had a lot of vapor. I just only am getting 1-2 seconds of warm hit in the beginning. Is this normal? I did see if you like a hot draw tc may not be right for you.

And what is max temp for tc that you should use? Is 450f normal or low?

I bumped up to 460f and seems like I get a strong heat up then it's evening out instead of being cool. Maybe coil had to work itself in? Getting pretty good vapor and a nice hit.

Thanks!!!!

RE: Help with TC...
Nickel needs a bit higher up to 520 F.

The Kanger board is not the best in TC.

Thanks! I'll bump up over 500F and see how it goes. It actually wasn't bad at all at 460F after a little while last night. Of course danger boards aren't good for TC...and I'm sure the IPV6X won't be either....that's the way shit works when I buy it. Sarcastic_hand

It's saying .24?! It'll never tc propperly unless the base resistance when cold is locked, assume your mod has that function??

Same shit this morning. 1 second of low heat then cool. Getting vapor but barely any heat and I'm up to 520f. 15 hits already this morning and same thing.

Wattage doesn't change. Topbox mini only shows max wattage

.20ohm 75watt
