Help un RTA
hey, I been vaping for a year now, i started with a kenkomuri pipe, but wasn't getting the thick vape i was looking for, so i switch to the cool fire IV mod with the i just 2 atomizer, after a couple of months the atomized grow a corrosion type stuff so i decide to change my atomizer and i did, i switch to the Geminis RTA mod, and i read wonderful thing in the web, the problem comes to  I’m not getting nowhere near as much and as thick vapor as before, i don't know if is the watts I’m using or the resistance, currently I’m vaping with a .42 ohms resistant and using 4.3 V. the problem may be how i put the cotton or the resistance so i just need help and advice haha thanks.

RE: Help un RTA
Is the airflow wide open? What wattage are you vaping at? The Gemini RTA I read somewhere can be finicky for wicking.... have you tried a different configuration and re-wicked?

RE: Help un RTA
What coils you using with your iJust 2? 0.42 ohms seems a little high for cloud chasing but I'm not familiar with that tank.

with the i just 2 i was using .3 resistances, so you think is the resistance?

RE: Help un RTA
Yeah it could be the resistance. Lower resistance will let you use more power and make bigger clouds.

RE: Help un RTA
The coolfire 4 is a 40w device, not really as powerful as it needs to be to achieve real clouds even with its 15a limit. Unless you mean the 4 plus or tc100?
The rta should be better than the I just tank though.. wind yourself a .2 pair of coils from 5× 2.5-3mm wraps of 24g kanthal. They'll fit nicely in the gemini and be very impressive even at 40w
If you have the 75 or 100w version they'll work better, or you could try parallel coils or ss/nichrome. The 40w will power those but the battery life would be poor if you tried it.

Don't forget to apply for the freecycle section!
