Thanks! Coilmaster 521 tab is the one I have bookmarked. Vapordna who I've used several times has it for same price as amazon.

What about cotton? What's good brand? The kanger tank cotton they included seemed like cheap crap

That's a whole different conversation with many passionate opinions. Smile

I originally started with Cotton Bacon (good stuff but on the expensive side) I purchased my cotton on Amazon Cotton Labo ORGANIC Cotton Puff Size M (200pc) (japan import) and depending on the build, I cut each pad into either 4 or 5 pieces - I paid less than $9 and that should last me beyond 2025! Good

Sold me on it. You made those coils? Neat!!!

I'll be using prewrapped coils to start with....

Do these work or do I need something else specific for the IM?
And what cotton is good to use? I used some organic stuff that came with my kanger topbox and top and bottom of it had a thicker almost pad type cotton that made wicking it a real pita.

There is nothing wrong with using pre-wrapped coils, I stopped making my own coils about a year ago so I could have some consistency in my builds for testing everything and I use Puff cotton in all my builds.
You cotton sounds like the Puff and you should take the top and bottom first layers off to use it.

Thanks. I thought about removing top and bottom layers but when I tried that it was just shredding so I stopped and just used as is. It also didn't help that the big baby beast rba coils were tiny

Absolutely nothing wrong with pre-wound coils! Hope no one thought I was shaming you. Definitely not.

Anyway RIP, I want to make sure you know... I have had 2 RDTA's and found that both tend to allow for easier stripping of the 510 pin for one simple fact- The pin is the same diameter, but longer than RTA's and RDA's because there is a tank under it. So, you get more torque as a simple matter of physics. In other words, it's easier to over-tighten the screw, so just keep that in mind. Since it seems the same on the Limitless Plus, I have to conclude it is simply physics and not a shortcoming on the Iron Maiden's part after all.

So watch over tightening the tank to the mod?
