RE: Hello from Staffordshire
Welcome aboard. Hey gently, I'll be in Birmingham in February or March next year. Well, the Alabama one anyway.

Get that tobh lit up! Can't beat a nice dripper hit.
Not far at all mate Smile I've had it fired a with a couple of coil setups around 0.7-0.9 ohms. It tastes good but I'm still not 100% happy with the cloud.

Yeah, it's the output power of your mod. When you get a mech though it'll be like there's a party in your lungs and everyone's invited Good2

Cheers spasmod Smile

I do have one question atm

I'm looking into buying a parallel (I think, with two batteries) mech box mod, admittedly for aesthetics (imho they're just better looking than the regulated boxes) I have, in theory, a fair grasp of battery safety and such. However, with my first mech I'd like a bit of insurance, ie a fuse, at least until I'm 100% on my coils and calculations. I've seen the magnetic ones that fit the top of the batteries. So my question has 3parts

1) Do they actually work
2) Can you fit them into a parallel box? And if so;
3) Would I fit one per battery?

Cheers Guys

I thought that. Maybe you'd know the answer to my question above too? Haha

RE: Hello from Staffordshire
Are you refering to a kick? I dont know of a box mod they'll fit in of the top of my head. Something with a built in mosfet and/or fuse might be better.
Something like a tesla invader has that, not that they're the nicest of mods. There are others, I just can't think of then right now Unknw

Very similar to a kick but with less features (nothing's variable) and thinner. it's just a simple fuse that protects from shorts. If I knew how to attatch a pic I'd show you haha. If you Google image 2 cent fuse you'll see what I mean :/

RE: Hello from Staffordshire
Aaahh, just looked. Haven't seen those tbh, but then I  have little need to look. Lol.
They seem to have a rating of up to 7amps, so you'll only be able to use them if your resistance is what I'd consider quite high for a mech at .5ish. That'll give you around 30w I think. Not enough for the kinda clouds I likeWink

I see. I don't know now. Haha. To be fair I'm not planning on subbing on it just yet anyway. My Kbox will fire down to .4, that's as low as I've gone. I'd only have them in until I was 100% confident with my coils etc. Work my way up to full on thunder storms haha. That said then do you reckon they'd fit, and if so would I need one on each battery?
