It's akin to saying "Hey, I found a thing that looks like food, can I eat it?" Really, as said many times, just don't. Ever. Don't ever vape that, ever.

One more chiming in to say " No Go!". Plenty of places to buy wire made for vaping. There's a whole bunch of surprises to be had by using hardware wire. None of them good.

What you likely purchased is a wire comprised of primarily tin . Tin is a basic all around household grade metal suitable for many purposes in the home and yard . However tin is somewhat inspeciffic making it difficult to determin ohms per foot ,and is quick to oxidize (Rust) Using it to build coils risks exposure to iron oxides which can cause a host of respiratory ailment .
