You've probably mentioned this (remember, lazy), but what OS will you be running on this bad boy?

RE: Gentle mod v2.1 beast box
OS? I assume you mean voltage control? There may be pwm, I have the schematic, bought all the smd components and also have a diy circuit etch kit, but, I've yet to find a way to steady the readout while it's in use.
So unless I find an answer pretty soon it will be semi mechanical, there will be no control but the resistance of the build.

OK, I figured the display was for some sort of regulated firmware deal. I'd have suggested an Arctic Fox variant.

Nah, its just a really good volt/ammerer.
I'd give the af software a try out for sure! I dont know of a chip suitable for this mod unfortunately. I have plans in place for my own made volt control chip, though it'll not make an appearance on this mod either. This one is just an exercise in brute power tbh, doubt it'll get used to its full other than in a pissing contest, but at that point i'll be pissing the highest for sure! Biggrin

Remember to discharge it to around 3.6/3.7V when not in use. This will dramatically increase the lifespan of the cell(s)

TVF tested battery info to be found here

It'll be a 2S in this one Don. The 1S will be in the other mod.. when I stop procrastinating and finish it Confused
