Geek Vape Eagle Tank - Perhaps a $50 mistake?
Bought this tank a few days ago. I really like that it uses prebuilt RBA decks for the coil. So I can change out the cotton if I want to, but they are so cheap that getting a new one is easier. This thing just acts funny. I have to prewarm the coils before a vape session, something all my other tanks don't need done. And the vapor cloud is sub-par, flavor is so-so, and it eats ejuice worse than my SMOK TFV8. Sure hope I didn't waste my money. I have the dual head clapton coil in there right now, was gonna try the single SS16 coil soon on my WisMec RX200 mod. Thoughts? Am I vaping it wrong?

You should post pics as it is.
I have no experience but I want to see so I can learn.
If you could, that'd be awesome.
Hope you get it sorted.

Hey kona

Need more info on the coil, ohms, diameter, composition and the power your using. Also the vg/pg ratio of the juice.
I'm sure it's a very good vape set up right.

The coil I am using right now is a SS16 hand built coil. It was made by Geek Vape, came with the tank. Not sure about the diameter. I'm using it in power mode, I hate temp control. Using it at 50 watts. My juice is 80 VG, 20 PG.

You could turn up the power a little, the dual coil can support 80w, also close off that top air hole.. dam things are a menace imo.

Found a use for one on the Griffin 25+. When MTLing it at 40W (For acceptable cloudage) you need to open the top airflow wide if you don't want to set fire to your tongue.

There is that Biggrin won't help your cloud much at 80w though Tongue
They've always taken from the flavour when I've used them too.

RE: Geek Vape Eagle Tank - Perhaps a $50 mistake?
Don't do so with the airflow set to MTL (Basically closed). The Griffin 25+ is the first monster air tank I've come across that can actually do this. It is perfectly usable MTL even at high (for MTL) watts.

I have wound it up way higher but with the air wide open and a bunch of watts I end up coughing up various bits best left inside my body...

Like I said, you can use it in ways the designers probably didn't intend. There is no need to have to cough up assorted sphincters if you don't want to.
