Finally, I got it right.
After a whole bunch of wasting wire and wick, I got the Trident clone to work correctly. Single micro coil at about 1.2 ohms

Popped it into a kink clone and woo hoo, clouds and flavor. Dropped the nick level to 0.06 and I'm loving it.

Prettry soon I will try a Kafun light or Kracken. There could be a steam turbine in my future as well. I know my next mech is going to be the Maraxus.

Cool,  glad you got it sussed, its a good feeling eh? You'll love a kayfun, not a cloud machine but the flavour. ....oh man, the flavour, and it doesn't leak, I love mine to bits.

Gennies I like, I just dont like carrying them, if their not vertical their leaking.

yeah same here it's pain having to keep them upright Smile I've actually been vaping my tobacco mix in the Evod for a few days!

Great news about getting your coils working mark! isn't it wonderful when you get those big clouds with loads of flavour ? much different to the tanks

Congrats.

My favorite by far is a medium to smaller size dripper with a single microcoil just over 1 ohm. I like it when my vapor is a little on the warm side too so it's perfect for that.

The dripper is fine for the house or at the shop, While on the other day job it just won't do. I'll have to stick with something like the VAMO with an Espire dual coil.

Can't wait to mess with the Kraken when it arrives.

Get a kayfun clone or fogger. You'll not look at the aspire again

RE: Finally, I got it right.
Congrats on the coils, Mark!  From this point on it will seem amazingly simple to create new ones and you'll wonder how you ever had trouble in the beginning.

I love the flavor from my drippers but they suck when I'm not in my chair at home.  Gennies are great but the leaking is annoying as shit plus the vertical wicking can be a bitch to get right.  Even one that is working fine one day might not work at all the next and you've changed nothing to account for it.  I have a Kayfun on the way and I'm really looking forward to it so I can see if it lives up to the reputation it has for flavor and leak proofness resistance.

My kayfun leaked today......the heater vent was blowing on it in the van, tank pressure increased and the juice has to go somewhere.

You have to get used to the foibles in your life as well as a tanks idiosyncrasies.

Nothing there to blame the Kayfun for.  You can't fight the laws of physics.  Like you said...the juice had to go somewhere. Tongue
