RE: Fasttech - Interesting new products
Now here's a useful idea. These are intended fro the crazy sub-ohm crowd but would act very nicely as thread protectors. Especially for mods with aluminium threads like my fist mod, a Private V2 clone made from aluminium and brass. A stainless steel one of these would have saved it from an early grave.

You can get a pack of three of them for under $12. Just throw the aluminium one away immediately - it will be useless. The copper one will need to be treated with some care too.

The stainless steel one is available on its own for $4.15

I might just get one or two of these for the tops of copper mods. The heatsinking is irrelevant to me, but the thread protection is potentially invaluable.

Funny that I see this one this morning. Last night I decided to break out the Flash e-Vapor v2 and do a rebuild on it. Installed a 24ga coil @ 0.57 ohm and used rayon wicking. Holy crap, I forgot just how fantastic an atomizer the Flash is! The vapor is cool but super thick and dense and packed with flavor. It is still very nearly without peer.

These are an awesome idea and worth getting! Shame there isn't a brass one instead of the aluminum.

Yeah - I have a lot of brass mods. Though i think all my atties are SS.

The Flash has been posted so hopefully it'll make its way here this year.

Don those heat sinks could be useful when rebuilding too, since it can be hard to pull the cap off of atties that aren't connected to a mod. Having one of these on your atty would mean you can pull the cap off easily even when the atty isn't attached to a mod.

RE: Fasttech - Interesting new products
I'd use them semi-permanently attached to the mod to protect the threads. Especially copper and aluminium threads

Hopefully this one doesn't have a 510 connector made out of case-hardened cheese which has been a problem with Vamos in the past.
