Even steam Engine can't help
I want to build coils buying everything but I still don't know what to buy. From what I've been seeing everyone has told me to start off with 28g 316L SS, ok. I want to go low ohm like 0.4 or 0.5 ohms for clouds. For flavor I want to go a higher ohm coil. How many wraps? should it be spaced or contact coils? With the higher ohm coil also? What about clapton & braided and all other wire? What's best for low ohms? I bought a few RTA's the one I can't wait for is the Limitless XL and the Big Baby Beast. What should I use for that area of Tanks? Any advice or tips would surely be greatful because I live out in the boonies and can't just go to the store and buy. I don't want to have to wait if I mess up and buy the wrong thing over the net even though I still have to wait for the big bay beast and the g-priv to be sold. Thanks in advance.

RE: Even steam Engine can't help
Steam engine can help for sure, it's actually over engineered with more info than even I will ever use!

316l is a nice vape, I'd recommend 26g personally. Also get some 24g kanthal, great middle ground wire. If you plan on claptoning a wire you'll need to use the thinnest wire you can handle, 34g and under is my method. Doesn't matter what it's made from though nichrome seems to stay clean the longest.

What mod are you using? Will you be going for tc?

I had an alien but sent it back the chipset on the computer took a shit on me. Now I'm waiting for the G-priv and the baby beast also with the Limitless XL and
Elm Style RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer and 2ml Petri Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer Glass Version and 4ml Kamikaze Style RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer  I just started buying some cheap stuff in case I mess it up it wont hurt so bad. When I had the Alien that might of been what happened to the chip I did'nt know what I was doing with TC now a little bit informed but would like to do both now I know you know? Thanks for hitting me back. Out of all that let me know what you think.

with SS your wraps can touch but don't need to , ass long as the coil/s are uniform they will work . i would recommend getting an ohms meter as well.
even using steem engine there is bound to be some minor variation from target resistance . coil building is an art and will take a spell to get used to , but it's not dificult the simple micro coil is easy to master .
Rip Tripers has some vids "coil building 101 " that are worth a look . he's some what obnoxious , but speaks clear and audible and dose well keeping the subject in frame.

Burbon comes from Kentucky , scotch comes from Scotland . Others deserve no bottle .

* Guide to Rebuilding.
* How Should I Build My Coils?

RE: Even steam Engine can't help
micro coil is 2-3.5 mm ID and generally 5-7 wraps kept as close together as possible . the coil is dry fiered and gently pinched together while still hot removing any spaces between the wraps.

Burbon comes from Kentucky , scotch comes from Scotland . Others deserve no bottle .

Nano coils are smaller diameter, like 1-2mm. Macro coils are bigger, like 4-5mm.
