Good luck Michael!

And try some of the recommendations to see if you can get better clouds Smile

RE: Entering an Online Cloud Competition
So, I've been testing some random builds including some of the ones you guys have recommended. All dual coil builds.

Twisted kanthal is pretty good, although I've only used it on my box so far and haven't tested it with a mech. I twisted 28ga kanthal and wrapped around a 7/64" drill bit 4.5 times for a .22 ohm build that's pretty sweet.

Dual parallel micro coils is a thing that shouldn't exist. 9 wraps on a 1/16" drill bit gave me a .25 ohm build that somehow managed to get awful dry hits even when the wicks were totally soaked. I'm wondering if I didn't wick it right, but it seems to be wicked properly from what I know. It's kind of hard to shove that tiny of a piece of rayon through that tiny of a coil, though. I might try to make it work later.

Three-strand parallel coils work pretty well too. Possibly the best of what I've tried. I don't remember the exact amount of wraps and stuff, but I got a nice amount of vapor and it tasted pretty damn good.

I haven't tried nano coils yet, just need to find a guide to building them properly.

I'm thinking I might turn my parallel micro coils into dragon coils. Just wrap the wick around the outside instead of threading it through. That might help with the dry hits.

After fooling around with it, tilting the micro coils to about a 45 degree angle and wrapping the wick around the coil instead of through it, the pseudo-dragon coils work just fine. Definitely not my favorite build ever, but at least I didn't waste all that wire since I can at least use it for a while.

Here it is... my Bad I meant super nano coils.

Rather than using Kanthal to wrap around, I use a 20G needle. Here's the vid

RE: Entering an Online Cloud Competition
I might try rewicking my parallel micro coils the way he does the nanos. I have cotton wrapped around the coils at the moment, but I like the way he wicks them in the video. Of course, I'll totally rebuild it to nanos soon, just want to try new things while I'm working on it. lol
