English cavendish
looking for " English Cavendish " flavor base .
the reason for being so specific is the english variety has no additives , and instead relies on the tobaccos natural sugars to provide the sweet taste.

Dogs have owners , Cats have staff .

RE: English cavendish
I'd be interested to know if you find one. Lately I've been really craving a smoke on my pipe, fortunately I got rid of it so I can't give in to temptation, but I'd love to find a realistic Cavendish vape.

Please post a link if you find any. As an ex-pipe-smoker I'd like some of that flavor base too.

Thank you. I've been wondering about something. I read somewhere that the intensity of a throat hit is determined by the %age of PG in the mix: more PG = stronger hit. Would the addition of nicotine to a high PG mix make a throat hit even stronger?

RE: English cavendish
Hi TT - nicotine does not really affect the 'hit' at all - the higher the PG the bigger the hit - but also gives a higher risk of Vape Mouth.

Hi ecig:

So nicotine doesn't affect the hit at all? Bummer. I bought some thinking that it did because the 18 mg/ml 'Turkisch Tabak' e-juice I began with, besides having an appetite-suppressing effect, also provided a great hit & I thought it must come from the nicotine. Anyway, thanks, but what is "Vape Mouth"? It's a new one on me.

Hi TT - Vape Mouth or Vape Tongue is when you lose flavour and get a burning sensation when you vape - that is why you should always drink lots of liquid when vaping in my case it particularly affected my throat so PG gives you the 'Big Hit' but lots of folk have a slight intolerance to PG - I changed to 50/50 juice and that sorted my problem - hope this helps.

Thank you, yes, that's a big help. Makes sense too. So far I haven't experienced it but it's my habit to keep well hydrated. I'm a great believer in the ideas of the Iranian doctor, Dr. F. Batmanghelidj (sadly now deceased).

During the revolution over there he was thrown in prison and, when they discovered he was a doctor, he was put in charge of the prison clinic. It turned out to be an almost empty room - just a chair, a table, and a sink, with not even a bottle of aspirin.

As patient by patient rolled in with various complaints such as arthritic pain, etc., all he could 'prescribe' was water saying "Just drink lots of water and come back and see me next week." After all, he couldn't let them leave with nothing.

The following week as they came rolling back in he was amazed to find that most of them reported feeling much better. He became intrigued by this - plain water as a remedy for innumerable illnesses? - and after getting out of prison he spent years doing research on water. He finally concluded that most people are dehydrated and that this is in fact the cause of many illnesses.

After reading his book, 'Your Body's Many Cries for Water: You're Not Sick; You're Thirsty: Don't Treat Thirst with Medications'
http://www.amazon.com/Your-Bodys-Many-Cr...+for+Water
I decided to take his advice and increase my own intake of water and - yes! it was true - if you drink enough of it water will improve your health. For anyone who may be interested, a site devoted to the good doctor will be found at http://www.watercure.com/

As for Japan, many here (including myself) drink 650 ml of water on getting up in the morning and then wait 45 minutes or so before consuming anything else. Since, besides writing several books, Dr. Batmanghelidj visited various countries to lecture on the importance of keeping well-hydrated, perhaps he's had an influence here.

Sorry for getting carried away and thanks again for the info and advice.
