Efest 4 Bay Charger
Link

Has anyone seen or used this charger? I broke my XP4, dropped it a few too many times I guess, so I need a new charger ASAP. The folks at my B&M recommend this Efest charger, I really like the digital display since it'll tell me voltage of each cell, plus comes with a car plug (which some of you will know is a big deal for me, that's why I bought the XP4 back in the day). They also carry the Intellicharger i4 (I think the newer version, not sure). I don't want to order a charger online since my XP4 is broken so all I have right now is the i2 and two bays just isn't gonna do the job for long enough to wait for shipping, so I want to get one in store.
On the other hand, I think my old B&M still carries the XP4 so I could get that, but the XP4 is $50 while the Efest is $30 and the i4 is $27. I'm just wary since Efest cells are notoriously unreliable re-wraps, so I want to make sure the charger is good before I pull the trigger.

RE: Efest 4 Bay Charger
They've got a bank of them in my local b&m for the staff and customers. I'd be inclined to think they're good.

Don't forget to apply for the freecycle section!

RE: Efest 4 Bay Charger
Have it, love it.

Only issue is, the USB port on it doesn't seem to work.  I've talked to a BUNCH of people that have this charger, and they all report the same problem.  It's only been an issue once in the year or so that I've had it, when I only had one plug available and needed to charge batteries and my phone.  No problem - it has a USB out for just this purpose!  Doesn't work.  Grr.

Other than that - never overcharges my batteries, has .5, 1, and 2 amp charging options (2A for 2 bays only), and has never had a problem.  Would recommend.

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

RE: Efest 4 Bay Charger
Haha it's alright Bob, thanks for the input. I went ahead and got the Efest LUC V4, looking forward to trying it out when I get home. I'd plug it in my car now, but I left my drained cells at home so it'll have to wait.

RE: Efest 4 Bay Charger
Well now that I've had a few hours, I'm liking this Efest charger so far. The voltage readout is spot on, I've checked it against my multimeter and it seems quite accurate. Charges pretty fast too.

RE: Efest 4 Bay Charger
I have 2 of them, one for 2 years and another about a year old. They are by far the best chargers I have ever purchased, and I have 4-bay chargers from all the major players.
