Ecigs on the NHS
The NHS in England has at last agreed that ecigs help people stop smoking and have granted some sort of licence to e-voke electronic cigarettes to supply. Who owns e-voke - British American Tobacco - surprise surprise. I wonder who are getting back-handers for this.
What form of ecig is involved I cannot find out just now - some sort of disposable I imagine. The British Medical Association have not added their backing to this - another surprise - they are a total waste of space - they will need 100 years of evidence before committing a maybe. In the meantime at least the government is backing ecigs as a means to stop smoking so I wonder what this might do to legislation due in May. I will be watching this whole situation with a lot of interest over the coming months - anything more I can find out I will report on the forum.

I agree I'm also wondering on what's going to happen in the future for vaping some of the things I have read about the proposed regulations sound absoutly rediculious

RE: Ecigs on the NHS
Isn't it ironic that they're going to effectively kill the consumer market with the TPD, with over zealous regulation and at the same time hand it all over the Big Tobacco?

Somebody somewhere is sitting on a big fat paycheck for sure. Negative

They've got enough money and power to keep their money and power, they'll jump on any bandwagon or kill off millions to keep it too!

RE: Ecigs on the NHS
Looks like this supposed NHS ecig by evoke is an inhaler - no battery no tank just a cartridge that goes into a box with a button on the side which you press to release the vapour. I am going to make this the joke for today[Image: sarcastic_blum.gif]
