Exclamation EU set to introduce draconian overregulation of e-cigarettes
A provisional deal reached tonight between MEPs and national governments on a new Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) will take the majority of e-cigarettes off the market.

Please read this and share with as many Vaper's and Vendors as possible guys.

DO NOT underestimate the severity of this because this is as real as it gets and IT DOES affect e-cigs WorldWide!

I read somewhere that these new changes - if they go through - would not take effect until 2017?

Lots of conflicting info out there right now but the latest report of the negotiations is here

http://libdemmeps.com/?p=1553

Mark - Final voting on the proposed legislation's put forward by the committee will take place in May 2014 - after that point the new rules will be slowly brought in and enforced over the next 2 years I believe.

Was speaking to a consultant psychiatrist today - in addictions as it happens. As he said, "My job is all about harm reduction - just what does the BMA think it's doing?"

I may add this conversation was in the smoking shelter - he's a smoker too. Here, ecigs are restricted to the smoking shelters only and in 2015 will be banned entirely from all NHS sites round here.

Already banned here.......didn't stop me when we were visiting Alice and most everyone else ignores the no smoking on nhs grounds too.

I was speaking to a shop foreman today, in the smoking shelter, he said he's had to extend the smoking ban to ecigs,  I can understand that - for the same reason I understand high street pub chains banning them, unless your a cloud chaser its hard to differentiate between a smoke cloud and a vapour cloud.

I've just seen a report from the northwest lib dem mep.....no tanks over 2ml was the one that kicked my sarcasm mode into overdrive, what the f*** am I supposed to do with 2ml in a tank? I may as well drip and drive! Two years to stock up on kayfuns, squapes, taifuns, gennies, odysseus tanks etc.

Good luck getting a decent looking tank on a 22mm + mod two years from now if this crap goes through.
