RE: Do you really need it?
First first off short answer yes long answer ABSOLUTELY

Honestly though I don't buy the latest gear I am completely content with what I started with but I also like mech mods clones / authentic whatever I just like the simplicity of them and I enjoy building them and cleaning them almost therapeutic to me

That being said I look for deals or buy them when I have available funds , I'm not one to go out of the way to get the best one out just to say I have it I actually 99% of the time am just carrying a smpl clone with a darkhorse clone 30 bucks total setup and it's my absolute favorite honestly but sometimes it's just nice to switch it up and I also look at it as a hobby , I quit drinking 2 years ago even at 28 I was labeled a functioning alcoholic and it had to stop or I was going to die so for me Vaping really helped me get my mind off things then it became a real hobby and now I walk around smelling like cereal instead of an ashtray lol

It is what it is everyone and to each their own but back on topic ...yes I want more lol

RE: Do you really need it?
Nope - I'm with Xperimental.  My changes have been as follows - started with eGo Twist batteries and ProTanks.  Was happy with them for almost a year.  Started wanting more vapor than those little things could produce.  Inherited an MVP2 for free, tried increased power to the little ProTank3 dual coils - instantly knew I wanted more.  Bought an iStick 50 and a SubTank Mini, passed the old equipment on to friends that were trying to quit smoking.  Used the i50/SubTank exclusively and was happy.  Started getting auto-fires.  Bought a Sigelei 100+ because the deal was too good to pass on (thanks Pulsar!).  Bought a Cube atty because I started working at a vape shop and wanted to be able to use the full power of the Sig 100.  I've used the Cube maybe 10 times total.  Starting to look at the new generation of mega tanks just because.

Frankly, witht eh awesome mods and tanks available at really decent prices right now, I would never suggest that anyone "start small" like I did.  The mega tanks can adjust the airflow down to a trickle and have higher resistance coils to go with that style of vaping, but you have thepower and the ability to switch to lung hits when you get there.  Someone starting with a SubBox kit or something like that shouldn't ever NEED another mod/tank combo unless the WANT one.

Collecting is it's own thing, but I don't and won't.  I look at it like I look at my guns.  I know guys that collect them like crazy.  I have a few, for very specific purposes, and see no need to get anything new and cool just to have it.  There's the home defense shotgun, the little .380 for carrying concealed, the 10mm for trail hiking and open carry, and that's that.  Might pick up a rifle for hunting in an emergency food scenario, but other than that I'm good.  If one gun could do everything that those 3 do the way an adjustable tank can, I'd only have one!

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

RE: Do you really need it?
I'm not a collector, per se. But in the grand scheme of things, these things are very inexpensive, so it's easy for me to justify buying one on a whim. It's not like passing a 56 T-bird for sale and buying it just because I want it. I can actually afford a mod now and then, so what the heck!
