Found several sites with independent testing done for a lot of vendors showing results with no diacetyl
Oh yeah? Well, you're ugly.

Rip, moral obligation vs obligations to shareholders and the almighty profit are rarely bedfellows.

There is no more of an obligation for a vendor/supplier to be 100% truthful than there is for the IRS to contact you and tell you that you can save $$$ by using a legal loophole.

After all it's the internet! I can find a dozen sites to validate something - anything - and at the same time find another dozen to provide a complete 180 view on the same thing.... Sad

RE: Diacetyl and popcorn Lung
Rip as I mentioned earlier diacetyl in e juice raised its head back in 2015 when it was found in the Butter Scotch ejuice of one supplier. Considering the flavoring is a small amount in a mix of e juice and diacetyl (if present) is a minuscule amount in the flavoring the chances of contracting lung decease from vaping are ??????? to one. I wouldn't even like to try and work out the odds.

Vaping Saves Lives. To vape is to advocate..

I get what you're saying and this article was put out by a vape advocate so i'm not passing on anti vape crap or fear mongering. Most juices may be minuscule amounts of it but if some companies show proof that they have none at all I will be sure to use those over ones who have it or small amounts of it.

I would rather avoid something if feasible than take chances. Good

I wasn't suggesting you were spreading anti vape crap or fear mongering. I've been involved with vaping advocacy for many years this issue has been going on for all of them. I follow Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos on FB and Twitter and I'm friends on FB with him it was his studies that encouraged these studies you have found to be done. The studies to this day are not comprehensive because juice makers only submit a small proportion of their line for testing.
It is good to be vigilant but the industry is well aware about the risk implied by diacetyl. If a company admitted its presence in their juice they wouldn't be in business for long afterwards.

RE: Diacetyl and popcorn Lung
The diacetyl thing is so over hyped and the study that the scares that are based on has been thoroughly debunked once peer reviewed. Not to mention Tobacco has thousands of times more diacetyl in a single Stinkie and after centuries of smoking not a single case of so called "Popcorn Lung".

So bring on all the creamy goodness of diacetyl, I'll vape it and not loose any sleep.
