Dehydrated Mouth Questions
No, I ain't gonna bore anyone with more mouth tales (that said, latest mouth update time...

my mouth has improved dramatically until yesterday when a strange convergence of events went down:
1. Cold rainy weather so I didn't drink nearly as much water as usual -- and only went outside to do quick vapes -- probably faster, harder, toots
Also, my wife has been making me a homemade electrolyte beverage to drink once a day -- she started this back in August, and curiously it wasn't long after that (plus religious water intake) that my mouth and tongue began to improve... and again, I forgot to drink it both yesterday and the day before due to the rapid drop in temp outside (we literally went from the mid-80's to low 50's for high temps with pouring rain -- all of which changed in just one night)
2. Wife's atty had issues so in trying to solve them had to have multiple toots of her juice... strawberry and cream -- and strawberry flavors don't agree with my mouth
3. Got curious (and ultimately stupid as shit, lesson learned) about trying out my dusty Goon RDA... so I rewicked it and juiced it with one of my two usual ADV's but the bore of the drip tip was way wider than anything I've been using since my mouth and tongue have stabilized... so it was one messed up day of bad things aligning for mouth issues. Mouth issues I was starting to feel confident were finally behind me.

So anyway, today my tongue stings, feels slightly tingly yet numb, is as red as Rudolph's sphincter after an all night bender at Taco Bell, and has the damn white bumps all over the tip -- just like back in May, June, July and early August. ARGH!!)

So onto my question for you folks...

When you've been dehydrated during your time vaping, beyond just mere thirst, how (if at all) did too little water and too much vaping manifest itself in a physical way, or didn't it at all?

RE: Dehydrated Mouth Questions
I'm a person who drinks way way less water than I should. It has always been like this. Since I started vaping I increased a bit my water intake but still not in normal and suggested quantities. When I vape after going to bed, the next morning I feel my tongue really numb and feel like someone is puncturing it and with a strange taste. I can't really describe it exactly tbh. My throat feel dry and every puff I take feels really harsh. This is the moment I realise I should drink a bit of water but every sip feels unconfortable.
We should try to drink more water, even more than the normal quantity suggested, that's the lesson I learned.

Yes to Eddie. Drink more than you think you need. When I drink less, I get chapped lips and (sorry) phlegm buildup. Yuck. But no Rudolph tongue. Hey, reminds me of an old joke...

Have you ever heard of Randolph the Brown Nosed Reindeer? He's just as fast as Rudolph, but can't stop as quick.

That must be the worst joke ever on the forum - I hope more members come on and 'slay' it as well.

RE: Dehydrated Mouth Questions
The biggest joke is when people come here and troll on about how vaping is more dangerous than smoking. And they are right- it is far more dangerous to Big Tobacco and Big Pharma to have people vaping rather than smoking.

RE: Dehydrated Mouth Questions
The recommended fluid intake (Remember there are significant quantities of water in just about all the food we eat) is 3.7 litres - just shy of a US gallon a day. If you reckon each pound of food is probably at least 30% water, that's at least 150ml per pound of food. Stuff like soup can be counted as 100% water.

Coffee, tea, fizzy drinks (don't like those myself) are essentially 100% water and count towards your fluid intake.

Most people do not consume enough water for optimal function.

If you are sweating you need more fluids, if it is cold you need quite a bit less.

Crudely put, the colour of your urine will tell you if your fluid intake is adequate.

OK, so what does "Day Glo Orange" tell you about health, other than 'yikes!!'?

Nothing crude about my urine... now my oil is an entirely different matter.
