DIY Flavor Suggestions?
I'll soon be ordering supplies to start making my own juice. But with so many options, I'm at a complete loss on what flavor concentrates to order. I'll probably get 5-6 flavors to start with, preferably flavors I can combine to make different or more complex flavors to keep things interesting lol.

So, I pose the question; If YOU were starting DIY Juice today and had to pick just a few flavor concentrates to start with, which would you choose, and why/what would you mix with them?

RE: DIY Flavor Suggestions?
I would choose something like this...

Blueberry (nice flavor that plays well with almost any other flavor)
Strawberry (same reason)
Menthol (I like menthol vapes and it blends well with fruits anyway)
Custard/Cream (custards and creams add a nice complexity to fruit vapes)
Vanilla (the salt of the vape juice world. It seems to make everything better)
*Wildcard* (Something different that you can go to when you want a break from the fruit/menthol/custard blends. In my case Egg Nog plays that role perfectly. For my wife, it's Red Licorice)

I also like chocolate. It's a bit controversial because it seems to be quite binary. People either love it or hate it. I have found Capella Double Chocolate to be a very good chocolate flavor.

Man, you have so many choices, Hard to nail down just a few. I have accumulated dozens of concentrates over the course of a year or so, I'm ashamed to say. Slippery slope.

Hi Nitros - If it was me I would pick 6 concentrates that could all be mixed with each other - this would give you lots of variations to try.
The MUST is Custard the others would be:- Apple;Strawberry;Raspberry;Blueberry;Vanilla. All will mix well with the Custard and all will mix with each other without spoiling any particular flavour and all are fine on their own as well. When mixing remember to add just about 5% Vanilla to any permutation you make - it will help blend the flavours together and saves some steeping time. It is great trying the different permutations - have fun and ENJOY[Image: smile.gif].

Thanks TW. Yeah, so many choices! I actually went looking for egg nogg but couldn't find it on any of the sites I've been looking at, at least not Canadian ones, though I've only really looked at 2. Lol

Heartlandvapes is a good place, and where I get most of mine anymore. They sell TFA Egg Nog there, and I think it's great. They carry TFA, Capella, FW, and their own blends, so you can get most anything there. Shipping is very reasonable comparatively.

As a matter of interest TW have you tried mixing a little Mint with the Chocolate to make like a After Eight mint flavour. I would really like to get a good chocolate to do this but alas I have had no success - I have not tried Capella chocolate so I will get some to try - it is really difficult to get a decent chocolate.

Those first choices are hard. Here's what I'd get.

3 of your favorite fruits
Cap Vanilla Custard, lovely on it's own and mixes great with fruit.
Mint, instead of menthol, works well with all fruits and gives it that extra.

Wish you the best on your diy adventure. You should check out What did you mix today?

Yes, but the only mint I have is spearmint, and it's a bit too sweet for me. I think peppermint (or candy cane) would be perfect. It's in my basket for the next purchase.
