RE: Cotton Bacon V2
I just vape out the stronger flavors rather than re-wicking. Gah, that would be a real PIA.

That would be better.. I just fear the dry hit too much. I am actually getting better at telling when it's about to happen so I may not be rewicking as much soon Smile

I still rewick between each flavor unless they go well together. Or just use different atties for each flavor Tongue

RE: Cotton Bacon V2
Ok, so I finally broke open the pack of bacon cotton v2 and wicked up my coils with it. So far so good, didn't really taste anything funky after the second hit. It does seem to wick really well.

The real test will be when I start changing flavors out and how soon it starts gunking up. I have about 3 flavors I usually vape in the evening all of them pretty sweet 2 are custards. Mornings I switch to a frappuccino and cinnamon roll flavor and they don't always mix well with my evening vapes.

If it can last me a few days it might be worth the additional cost. It is about 4 times as much as I'm paying for my japanese cotton.

Well I should have waited before I posted. I just got a fairly dry hit off my dripper and it didn't kill me Smile No real burnt taste so this stuff is showing some promise!

Mmm, Frappuccino and cinnamon roll sounds like a great combo, can't believe I never thought of it. When I get home I'll have to mix some up Wink

They do go really well together. The first couple of hours I'm up I switch between the two. Sometimes longer if the mood hits me Smile

RE: Cotton Bacon V2
Somewhere I wrote up a synopsis of all the different types of wicking material .. ah yes here ...

http://www.thevapingforum.com/Thread-Wha...g-material

If you read the comments ... well everyone has a favorite. From personal experience cotton bacon 2 does NOT last the longest. Both native wicks and texas cotton are less likely to burn. And then we have rayon that tends to last fairly long. I find it is best to really soak the cotton and basically over drip when you just put it in. Cotton burns initially quicker if you vape it too high before you break it in. So on a regulated mod it is no issue. You simply set the watts lower. But I use primarily mechs. I just rewicked for my series mod. I really soaked the cotton two or three times before actually vaping on it. I just burned the juice off without the cap. And I made sure it never went completely dry.

Now I used to wick way too much. I chain vape and I burnt the cotton rather quickly on my mechs. So the cotton bacon 2 did not stand up to chain vaping that well. Sure it tastes okay but it does burn if you are not careful. So your personal vaping prefrences will have a lot to do with the best wicking material for you.
