Copper Contacts
hi, im using a tube mech mod. And the copper contact on the bottom where the switch is has some "bumps" i think you know when you use screw driver to unscrew the contacts and you force it you leave some scratches that makes the contact not that smooth, it is not as flat as it was before. Can i use sand paper to make it smooth again?

RE: Copper Contacts
Yes! Copper is very soft so I recommend a 240-320 grit to plane it smooth then a 500-800 grit to bring it to a semi shine.

RE: Copper Contacts
Copper is really soft. That is one of the problems with copper springs. They collapse. I have a few boxes with copper springs which I had to replace. Silver contacts, IMHO are better.
