Unless Fruitcake in TN is different than it is in Canada, the only decent thing I can think of doing with it, is sending it to TW for target practice! Smile Can't even do that as the damn thing is so dense and would cost me a small fortune to ship... Smile

Report back to us on what it tastes like - can't say I've ever tried it.... Sad

Here in TN, fruitcake is just an excuse for people who "don't drink" to eat copious amounts of rum-soaked, nut and dried fruit filled "dessert" with the consistency of a brick. Most times you can get a fair bit tipsy off a single bite.

Historically, fruit cakes existed because the alcohol preserved the cake for like infinity. After modern refrigeration came along, fruitcakes were used as gag gifts. I personally can't stand them. Little blocks of radioactive sponge.

RE: Colonel Custard by Michael!!!
i much prefer my banana rum pudding
1 pt of your favorite rum
2 boxes instant banana pudding
1 pack chocolate grams pulverized .
2 much nicely ripe bananas
non dary whiped topping
slice bananas and soak in run over nite . use rum from bananas and cream to make 3 cups for the mixing of the pudding . layer pudding whiped topping and chocolate gram crumbs . we generally dip nilla wafers in it , though if you don't mind dilling with piping bags it makes good pudding shots.

RE: Colonel Custard by Michael!!!
Well right now I've only made up enough for myself and for a few folks I've already promised to send some to. But once I get back from my trip I'd be happy to send out some more. I need to buy more empty juice bottles though, I'm thinking I'm gonna get some Unicorn bottles next time since I found them pretty cheap online. For anybody who wants some and who I haven't already promised to send some to, shipping in the US costs about $6.50 (Priority Mail flat rate small box with tracking), and my cost to make the juice is around $2 per bottle. I'm happy to send it at cost, so if you want a 30ml bottle of each that would be $10 total. I wish I could afford to send some to everyone for free but with changing jobs and my trip coming up, the ten bucks here and there starts to add up.

Chuck that sounds awesome! Banana pudding has always been one of my favorite desserts, but I never would have thought to add rum and chocolate. Sounds exquisite.

Is this still available? Love to try some!
Any chance it can be made with 18mg nicotine as well?
