Cleaning coils
I have the Goon 22mm rda and I just cleaned my coils which are mini claptons that I got when I bought the rda about 1 & 1/2 months ago. I took out the cotton and heated the coils until red hot and put them under cold tap water. I repeated that a few times then put new Organic Native Cotton in and dripped the cotton. I let it sit for about an hour and when I took a rip it tasted a little burned and had a harsh throat hit. Do I need to let it soak longer or do I need new coils? Thanks

RE: Cleaning coils
Also you don't need to let it sit for an hour, you just gradually drip on the cotton and give it a few quick genital low power pulses while dripping to saturate the cotton.

There's a lot of YouTube's showing how

RE: Cleaning coils
Hey jpete.

Check all the screws are tight, including the ones underneath.
If they're all tight then it could just be because it's a fresh wick, some take a few hits before they bed in.

RE: Cleaning coils
I ended up having too tight of a wick so I rewicked with a thinner piece of cotton and it's much better now
