RE: Chat hub
I share an office with an addict. I still remember hiding behind the sofa when the scary monsters came on around the tie I was 6. It just isn't the same now.

RE: Chat hub
Don't be dissing the good Doctor now. I love me some Dr Who. Who cares if it's realistic or not.

Actually funny thing is I'm usually very picky about my SF. I mostly like pretty realistic SF, I think they call it hard SF, where the premise is backed pretty well with science. But I do love Dr Who. I know it makes no sense whatsoever lol

RE: Chat hub
I watched it as a youth, during Tom Baker's tenure. I really didn't like the new doc and honestly haven't seen it since. I was rabid for it when I watched it. Absolutely no idea how it's changed since then. Tom Baker's the only doc for me.

RE: Chat hub
It's definitely different but they do stick pretty close to the original as far as plot.

RE: Chat hub
No Star Wars for me, I just don't get the fascination. Yes, I was old enough to remember the first movie, and it was cool, but they lost me long ago with all the sequences and stuff. Had the original toys too... the ones worth a small fortune today. They were fun to beat to hell though, can't lie. I was sub-10. What are you gonna do.

RE: Chat hub
I was 20 when the original movie came out. I've never actually seen all of it though i know many folks who can describe every single frame of it.

Me, i don't care. Between 1980 and 2000 I spent less than three hours in total in cinemas. Since 2000 i have maybe spent 6 hours in cinemas in total and I last owned a TV in 1992.

RE: Chat hub
Didn't even know they made a movie. I also never go to movies, unless it's a kid's movie like Cars or Hotel Transylvania. Good times with the kiddos.
