RE: Chat hub
Hi Don - how is the cold today - I hope you are feeling better to use your new squonk box - it looks great BTW. There is a really good medicinal ejuice I have been introduced to called The Grinch[Image: smile.gif] I think it would clear most things - even a blocked sink.

RE: Chat hub
Hmm, I wonder if it'd be possible to do a natural extract of herbal tea leaves to make an "alternative medicine vape" juice. Or maybe chamomile tea for a sleepytime vape.

Can't abide the taste of chamomile.

You do have to watch with natural extracts that you aren't extracting oils that shouldn't be vaped.

Our prevailing weather comes from the west across the Atlantic so when the wet air hits the mountains and gets forced up a bit it decides the water is too heavy and drops it on the west. There's a reason Glasgow is known as (among other things) Raintown.

Agreed on the coffee. I got given a ludicrously expensive bean to cup machine (I don't spend that much on cars) which does make a nice brew. Wake up, take the dogs out to pee, hit the button on the coffee maker. Stick a cup under it when I get back in, head for a pee and there's coffee ready about the same time as the flush. It is preprogrammed to dump two shots of espresso and a bunch of hot water into the mug. Faster than the kettle.

Don't do instant...

Would of thought Cumbria would be the same with the mountains close by i suppose its down to Ireland blocking the atlantic, through years ago we used to get a fare bit of snow,

The wettest place in the UK is in southern Cumbria (Might be N. Yorks, my knowledge of English geography could be written in crayon and comfortably inserted in my eyes) - I believe it gets more than 300 days of rain a year.

RE: Chat hub
The East of Scotland is usually a lot dryer.

30 years ago I lived on the edge of the Kalahari Desert in a place that had slightly higher rainfall than Aberdeen. Thing is it got all of it in 3 months (Nov-Feb) and the average temperatures were a bit higher...

The conditions in November with 50C temperatures and 100% humidity and no AC as no electricity were pretty awful - we always ended up dancing in the rain in the first thunderstorm of the season.

You get to love rain when you live in a desert.

Living in a mud bath just isn't the same.
