So, the lighted deer on the front lawn stopped working, probably shorted and popped a fuse. It's literally pouring rain, and the wife tells me to go figure out what's wrong with them. I wonder if she's planning her own little Christmas present, like a life insurance payout?
Be carefull TW - rain can be dangerous so don't take any of your good mods out with you. The 'deer' could be 'expensive'[Image: smile.gif].

Put my car in to get new brake pads. Turns out it needed new discs as well Sad

Ah well, I really should lose some weight in January. Not having any money will help there...

RE: Chat hub
Howdy all, just stopped by to wish everyone a very happy holidays and all that jazz!!!

Looks like no snow for Christmas, first time that has happened while I lived here in Northern Michigan. I'm not complaining though.

I came across this pic the other day. I thought I didn't have any pics of me from Panama but this one somehow got saved. I got smashed, pissed, lit up drunk one night and had a Bon-fire and thew all my military stuff on it, that I could find, pretty good fire too. LOL

That's me on the left and my buddy Dan on the right. This was taken at Ft. Sherman Panama during my second deployment "Operation Promote Liberty" (1990)  Those ships in the background are lined up waiting to go through the canal zone.

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?

Morning Don and anyone else around just now. I am just about to do the veggies for the soup for Christmas day - an annual ritual. Home-made soup is about the only good thing I like about the winter.

I don't know if that's the ONLY good thing. I like that it ends, too. And as a young man with more human pursuits, I enjoyed holding my honey close by a warm fireplace while it was dreadfully cold outside. Really got her 'warmed up', and I needed all the help I could get (mainly because chicks are so dang needy, and I'm so dang lazy!) External influences were always welcome. I know; I was a real charmer.
