Looks like someone needs to learn to stop before they ram into your vehicle.

Hope everyone's OK.

Yeah everyone is ok. Even though I know I will get it back just like new, it breaks my heart. I detail that car three times a week.
The lady who hit me had three kids in her car (NOT belted). They were acting up and she turned to scold them, then bang. She is very lucky her kids were not hurt.

Round here it is an offence to have anyone in a vehicle (without a medical exemption) not appropriately restrained and drivers will be severely hammered for having loose children in a vehicle. And if not adult sized, restrained in approved child seats.

That said, there have been occasions that I have been more than a little distracted by 3 rugrats even restrained in my car. Like the time they decided to see how much ice cream they could work into the upholstery. They are now 25, 23 and 21 and I look forward to telling these tales at their weddings.

LOL I know what you mean. The problem is that the officer in Florida has to see the seat belt violation. The kids were already out of the car when he got there. I guess being an officer myself I could have ratted her out about the kids, but she was so emotionally distraught, I didn't see any point in it. What I have been seeing these days is that driving is secondary. Fixing hair, eating, texting is all primary. Maybe you can still give them a time out for the ice cream incident. Never too old to learn. Declare

I must admit to egging them on. That car was too expensive to run as it gulped fuel and it no longer met emissions (Without spending about 10x what it was  worth to fix) so it was heading to the wrecker's yard shortly after this so I really didn't care about it.

Their mother was less than impressed by three ice-cream impregnated infants though.

Sarcastic_handShoutHang2 Makes you wonder about the hiring process for that? "Do you have any experience?"

Yes absolutely true. Speaking of fixed I dropped my car off at the body shop at 900am. I realized I left my sunglasses in the car. I went back an hour later, and all the damaged parts were already removed. They don't fool around. I noticed that cars are not like they used to be. There was a time when you needed skills with body putty. Now cars are like giant puzzles. Damage a part, it come off, stick on a new one.
