RE: Chat hub
Well guys, I don't want to sound like I'm boasting or anything, but I've got some great stuff going on in life right now that I just have to share with some friends, and you guys are friends Smile
This week I've had a bit of an awakening. Without going into too much detail, I had a spiritual renewal this weekend and I've found a new sense of purpose and motivation to be a better man, and I've been working out to get back in shape and growing closer to God this week. I know there are probably folks on here from nearly every religion and walks of life, so of course I don't want to come off as too preachy or whatever, I just wanted to let you guys know that life is really, really good right now and I'm working hard to keep it that way.
I hope all of you ladies and gents are doing great! Whiskey, congrats on getting the garage all finished, we're all counting down the days with you!

Well Michael I can't tell you how important being a good person is these days. In my profession I have seen the absolute worst in people. I have never met you but I somehow know that you were already a good person. We all have room for improve, and it's always a work in progress. When I was a kid my father told me that no matter what I did to make sure I left a positive foot print on this planet. I am very pleased for you Michael. Good I will say no more for risk of getting kicked off the forum.

NO NO Michael. It's not about religion. Your thoughts just got me to thinking about certain people, and my views would not be acceptable on a friendly forum like this. All I can say Mike is keep up the good work. Keep being that person who is a giver onthe planet, not a taker. Is it possible to admire someone you never met. Yes, history is full of admirable people. I'll count you as another one.

You're too kind, mate. I'm just another guy taking life one day at a time, no need for admiration.

When I make it big as a Rockstar, THEN you can admire me Tongue

There are many levels of admiration. I saw someone stop and give a homeless man a bag of McDonald's food. I call that admiration.

RE: Chat hub
I was talking with Whiskey about this, and I think the subject bears sharing. Our beloved United States Post Office. Their system is almost useless. Let me give you an example, and I hope you can follow along because it makes no sense. Ok here we go. On August 15th I ordered a part for my airplane on Ebay 1. Shows processing scan from Baton Rouge Louisiana. 2. Shows outbound scan from Baton Rouge. 3. Arrival scan at Ormond Beach (where I live). 4. "Out for Delivery" meaning its on the truck. 5. Mail person comes and goes, no package.
6. August 22nd processing scan Baton Rouge. 7. August 22nd Arrived at destination Orlando, Fla. (One hour later)?? 8. Processing through Orlando. 9. Arrival Ormond Beach. 10. Processing through Orlando. 11. Delivered August 28th. 13 days from Louisiana?

Package #2. Sony VCT batteries. 13 days in Salt Lake City with no scan. Suddenly appears in my mail box.

Package# 3 Finally a very very nice mech mod. I received 6 other packages that day. Showed delivered at doorstep. Not there. Never seen again.

My biggest beef is that when you speak with a supervisor, the attitude is pretty much "don't know what to tell you" Sorry for ranting.

RE: Chat hub
I totally understand. We've had mail misrouted, lost, shredded, you name it.

Hey, we visit Ormond Beach every year on vacation. Like to stay north of touristy Daytona. It's the wife's favorite place on earth.
