When I bought this place I decided that the past owner was a masochist and didn't want to fall into his trap. I kept the front lawn and let the rest go back to nature.

I dont know whats wrong with me, but the PO of the house let the yard overgrow, and I am trying to get the half of the property on the house side of the brook groomed up. Hoping to get the rest cleared up this year, and start getting some fruit trees and plants planted next spring. Want apple, pear, peaches, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Maybe more at some point. Best part, I can make some booze out of what the family dont eat

Interesting property for sure 18, and I just love the fruit trees Pulsar, I have 2 apple trees on our new property and would like to plant a couple more, maybe a pear and a cherry. We'll see, we are in the process of building a new home.

I'm looking for an apple tree that will survive the conditions - one of the old birch trees has died - it was probably 300-400 years old. The house is around 400 years old.



But it can get pretty cold there at least by UK standards. I've been there when it was below -20C which was fun even if it did mean melting snow for water.

After 6 hours on the job, a couple of hours to pick up the dogs and get home, I think I deserve a lot of beer but it's a work day tomorrow

So a dram or two will have to suffice.

Brad I could sit in your back yard for hours! just outstanding natural scenery. You could hike and camp there without leaving your own property awesome!

Whiskey your place looks just amazing with a view of the mountains and such a lovely setting in the wooded area! That's something to be real proud of.. I would be outstanding!
